HEAL America Campaign

Charleston II Report

(Thursday, November 19th thru Monday, November 23 rd, 2009

 

Due to the fact that the first HEAL America Campaign Health Care for the Soul of America had some significant developments and the organizer believed that we should not wait until after the holiday season to continue our Charleston efforts, it was decided that we should immediately follow up.

         It appears that our hunch was right to have “Clinic” in which the general public would be invited, whereas the first

         was by invitation only, because the following developments have fortunately occurred, they are:

 

• * On evening of Saturday, the 21st, we had a turn out of about 30 folks including some significant new
•    participants who are now willing to join in the organizing efforts ranging from the very popular Mike Angello,
•    Radio Live 58 Talk Show Host of WSCH; to well connected West Virginia State University administrator; to
•    various private citizens.

 

• * Campaign staff met with a powerful and well connected legal firm who is working to establish the Campaign
•    as a legitimate corporation for business.

 

• * On Monday afternoon, the 23 rd, Todd Holliday, Robert Oliver and Ted Hayes met with the influential minister
•   of _______ and community leader for both Black and White Charleston citizens, Pastor _____Watts, who is 
•   committed to assisting in facilitating the Campaign in Charleston.

 

• * Local news outlet, WOWK-TV 13 covered the Saturday night “Clinic” which can be seen at
•    www.Healamericacampaign.com and www.TedHayes.US

 

• * On Friday the 20th, Mike Agnello provided a whole hour of airtime on his popular Talk Show to expound to
•    West Virginians the concept and intents of Heal America Campaign, especially the portion dealing with the “Two-
•    way” conversation in the race-slavery discussion.

 

• * Sunday, morning Robert Oliver and Ted Hayes was interviewed by a Chicago based radio Talk Show ________ hosted by C. Fancis.

Ø   Ms. Francis expressed willing to help facilitate a Health Care “Clinic” and/or workshop in Chicago perhaps in early or mid March 2010

 

• * On Sunday afternoon the 22nd, the HAC organizer met to debrief and strategize our next step in the Campaign.
